• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Thanks for all the info on this forum everyone. I've been loitering without adding much to the conversation. I've learnt so much and finally went out and picked up my Stinger GT.

It looked brand spanking new but had to drive it out of the showroom in the rain (can't complain since we need rain right about now).

The bi-modal exhaust is perfect! Quiet when necessary and loud when you need some excitement. Even after reading so much about the Stinger I was still impressed when the salesperson took me through the features and how well they work.

Congrats and welcome. I love that bi-modal too. One of the best features of my Stinger. One of many.

Congrats and enjoy the ride! I love the BiModal too, and have fallen into the trap of pulling the fuse, to have it open all the time! Can get a bit droney though. Enjoy..

I do value quietness on long freeway drives so the bi-modal is great. You never know if I might be tempted to have the rumble full-time though.

Welcome to your Aurora Black, Aus Tomatoes. :D:thumbup: You did the Rain Dance! If it hadn't been for you driving a black car on a test drive, all of your compatriots would still be panting for rain!

It's been a while since I've attended a drive day. I'm looking forward to the next one. Gives me some time to get used to the new car too. Don't think I've ever driven anything with this much power under the hood.

I have owned my Stinger for 22 months, and the Great Ocean Rd drive we attended yesterday, was the first time I really had a chance to drive it hard and fast, it was fun, I have had my fix now , I'm good for a while, now I would like to just attend a Coffee and Cars meet for 2 - 3 hours, where more owners can make it, meet new owners and check out each others cars and mods, my goal is too have every colour attend , and work towards breaking Friday nights Sydney meet up record of 21 Stingers.:)

That might take some beating. 21 Stingers is a good effort. You guys did ok with your turnout yesterday.

That's the spirit DC ,originally we only got 4 Stingers and a Pro ceed to our first one so you guys are off to a good start. Don't drop the ball now, have another one within 3 months. Ps. You deserved that DC just remember to keep prodding flame.

It's just so effortless to get up the speed limit on normal roads that I feel like I'm babying it on my normal commute. I'm gonna take a trip down to Wonthaggi for Australia Day weekend so let's see how nice that drive is.

Hi all!
I'm looking to put my order in for the GT. Tossing up between hichroma and ceramic silver. Curious to know, having spoken to a one of the dealers here in Melbourne they advise me that there is a new version of the exhaust pack available for my20 cars. Is this true?

Also anyone got sample clips of the bimodal exhaust noise? Cold start etc? None of the dealers are able to locate one for me to hear it in the flesh yet.

Looking forward to you inputs!

Hi Rich and welcome, to be honest you can't go wrong. I have a DCB stinger but the red when polished is a site you won't forget. Plenty here with the bimodial exhaust whom I'm sure will share thoughts and clips with you.

Let's us know your journey:thumbup:
