I've been stalking the forum before the original launch, and finally received my special order of a 2019 hi chroma red gt2. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone posting all the good and bad as it helped me to purchase my dream car.

I wondered who all owns a hi chroma red stinger and if you got ppf, ceramic pro, or nothing. I've searched on the forums but can't decide what to get. I'm just afraid how much luster I will lose if I get the ppf.

There is zero "luster" loss with PPF. Later, years later? The future is unwritten. I trust those on the forum who have experience with PPF, and it has not been a discussed issue that PPF changes the appearance of the paint years down the road. Since there is a warranty period of usually five or ten years, I'd expect the PPF to outlast the warranty by a good long while, vis-a-vis yellowing or getting brittle, or starting to come up around the edges, etc.

I have HiChroma and I put ResistALL on it.

I've got a red one and I did both the ppf and the ceramic coating. It looks fantastic! Whole car wrapped and coated along with the ceramic coating on the wheels, too. So easy to clean and I barely have to use the wipers when it rains as the water just rolls off. Definitely the best and FIRST thing you should do before any other mods.

Where did you get the full body ppf done?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Congrats on the Red beast! I ppf 90% of my car I actually gained gloss.....you yourself can do the ceramic ....ceramic will not help with rock chips.....invest your money wisely with the ppf....you don't need the whole car done...and then coat the remaining panels yourself :) Wash
Heres a crappy pic i took today ive been experimenting with sealants and waxes....blackfire sealant topped with blackfire mid nite sun carnuba on the door panels

Thanks for sharing, glad the community was able to help you decide. I was pretty much sold based on specs, reviews, and test drives, but being on this forum for a while before actually pulling the trigger really helped as well. Enjoy!

Oh, and add your location to your user profile if you don't mind. As an international community, not everyone knows what a WarEagle is.. :)
