Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger! What did the Stinger replace for you? I’m glad you found us.I have a 2019 Kia stinger premium with the 4Cyl I absolutely love it and just purchased it.
I just purchased the K&N intake how many horses does it add?
Also I want to do more to it what should I do to add horse power!!
the 2.0l is not underpowered in the least. that's the amazing thing about 110 hp less than the 3.3l. to look at the numbers you'd think it feels slow but it does not. low end torque is what does it for both engines. There's not a lot out there for us 2 point slow guys.
Ill agree. With what ive done to mine, ive been super happy on the dyno. You figure they say 255 right? Im guessing, as most would, thats at the crank. My best pull so far has been 271.9. You can get power out of them without a doubt, and i really haven't done much. Im sure if i went the meth route and a bigger intercooler i could get more. Maybe, ya never know.that's the same trim and year as our micro blue. we are second owners.

I will say that the twin-scroll turbo of the 2.0l has noticeable lag whereas the 3.3l tt has hardly any turbo lag at all. and I won't claim that a drag race is almost the same with both engines, it certainly is not. but, away from a traffic light, or changing lanes and accelerating in a pass the 2.0l is ninety percent the same as what you'll do with the 3.3l, you just have to push the accelerator further to get it. wot is a deliberate decision with either engine, not something that you have to use to get the performance you want in typical driving situations.
inside, the driving experience almost all the time feels exactly the same in a gt1 or a premium.
