To suggest Telsa will Kill the German brands is an overstatement which leads to a lack of credibility right from the start.

The "article" says the pressure of Tesla's EV success will have enough impact on Germany's auto manufacturers that it will force them to abandon ICE vehicles in favor of EV, thus laying off thousands of workers and hurting the economy.

It doesn't say Tesla is/will kill German car makers. That narrative was presented by the OP.
