Hello fellow Stinger owners! Yesterday I made a decision to join group of first people getting KIAs first sort of premium car, despite of fear how Stinger might keep it's value during the years.

I ordered 2,0 T-GDI RWD with Panorama Premium Pack, in sporty Chroma Red color. I spent weekend watching different reviews from Youtube about new Stringer, all around the world. And have to admit how pissed off I'm about Finland car policies, especially what comes to taxes.

Got my Stinger for 68,000 EUR (approx. 83,000 USD), and yeah, it's RWD with 255HP 2,0 engine. 3,3 would be damn 84,000 EUR (approx. 100,000 USD), so that's kind of reason why ended up with 2,0 litre.

Really looking forward to get my car in couple next weeks and start to gather experiences with it!

Welcome! Holy moly... what a tax grab! Finland is the happiest nation in the world except when it comes to buying cars, I guess... but perhaps they're putting those taxes to good use!

G’day from OZ & welcome to the forum.
Ouch those prices are a killer, government taxes can be a bit over the top but this is excessive in the extreme just like our friends in Singapore get slugged on high taxes on cars.
Anyway enjoy the car, I’m sure you will have fun in it.

Welcome! wow...pretty cool where you live.

Woho! Got my Stinger last week, and damp I'm so excited! "Slight" upgrade to my old 1.4TFSI DSG Skoda Octavia (2015).

Difference to attached picture, I got rear windows tinted with 20% film, so it looks a bit more neat.

One maybe bigger "modification" that I had do for car was change original tires to new ones. Here in Finland our roads are in so bad shape, that tire noise into cabin was something unacceptable with original Contintental Conti Sport Contact 5 tires. I ended up to change from tires to 245/35R19 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3, and read tires to 255/35R19 Asymmetric 3s also.

And have to say, car feels like completely different car to drive after swapping tires! Damn! It's way quieter when driving, feels like it responses to steering way better, and even feels like it's moving bit better!

Overall I'm really really happy to my purchase! Looking forward to see how car performs in long term use.

Welcome, Jermu! Sorry about the taxes, but at least y'all get good healthcare and schooling cheap/free, right? Good car prices here in U.S.A., but kinda on your own in other areas....but I do love my country anyway. Stinger should be a great car with ANY engine. Tires do make a lot of difference; my Michelin Pilot Sport Y's are great tires all around.
