Yep, I get with bogans (Aussie for wanker) in jacked up utes that suddenly think they are driving F1 car, so you are not alone.
I sometimes just plant it so they get the idea that tailgating me will be fruitless exercise.
Same here, I mean i get tailgated alot in my daily driver, but as soon as I am out on the road with my Stinger, it's like i got a magnet on the rear end, usually attracting old crappy cars whom the owners don't care about anything or anyone, or someone with a nice expensive car, who tailgate for a short while, then has to zoom past me on the right, just trying to provoke me and show off as they drive by....
I like to repeatedly wash my front windshield and force the washer fluid over my car, onto their windshield. They get annoyed from having to constantly turn on their wipers to wash it away, they back off.
Not attracting more tailgaters in the Stinger. But, I notice those who do hide their entire front grille below my hatch window a lot more than I ever did in my van! I'm always watching the rear traffic to see if anyone is closing on me fast.

With previous cars, I used to "aim" the passenger side windscreen washer fluid nozzle over the car to douse tailgaters. I got a good chuckle out of that.

I simply move over and let them pass as soon as I can. I will pull to the shoulder if need be. I have brake-checked and twice brought out the PSYCHO in the tailgator and had to rely on Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration to get away :O So yeah, just let 'em pass and be a witness at THEIR trial when they rear-end someone else... Judge: "Will the witness please stop referring to the defendant as 'that jackass' - I won't warn you again!"
I haven't noticed it any more often, but that's just my experience. Typically I'm going 5 over so if someone is really riding my rear I'll just slow down to the speed limit. Then when we get to a stop I'll pull away from them to show them that they've got nothing and should get off my ass before I embarrass them.
I don't get tailgated much because I drive slightly faster than most people (with no on ein front of me. I never tailgate others), but when I do, I also like to spray them with washer fluid. hold it for a good 5 seconds. they'll get the message. If not, do it again
I must live in opposite world, I don't have tailgaters but instead everyone seems to want to be ahead of me. My lane must always be the cool one to be in because multiple times per day, I inevitably have someone randomly change lanes in front of me. There are times when there's no one in their lane, yet they'll STILL make a lane change into mine for no obvious reason.
Drives me nuts but one of my 2020 resolutions was to learn to laugh it off rather than respond aggressively.
