Hi all, as some will know I bought my stinger only last week and I’ve noticed a rattle coming from the boot, but only over heavy bumps or coming off of speed humps etc... (obviously at low speed)
It sounds like the “Boot catch” is loose or the boot is not quite shut but it’s down firm. I’ve also stripped everything out I’d the boot and it still exists.
I see there is a TSB issued on this for 2017 models, but just wondered if anyone in the UK had experienced this and if so is it the TSB SA322 that’s mentioned on a previous thread and if you’ve had it fixed was it easy enough to get KIA to do it!
Many thanks, Richard.

Lots of threads on this. Dont waste your time taking it to the dealer.

i used 4 plastic 5/16” washers, a torx head screwdriver, and fixed it myself in 5 mins. Too lazy to link those threads but seriously just youtube this its so simple

The dreaded Hatch Rattle. Inserting washers under the bumper stops or even the side stops seems to cure most of these; there are numerous conversations about it.

Thanks both, I thought as much and yes I’ve seen a couple of threads and watched one of the you tube vids. Looks so very simple. I’ll get some washers.Thanks.

Thanks guys I appreciate the replies. Hopefully sorting it in the next few days.
