Mine abruptly ended when my radio was replaced... Now I have to call the dealer to get me another trial.

Does anyone else have sound quality issues with XM/Sirius? My bluetooth and usb audio sound amazing, the FM radio sounds, just OK, and the satellite radio sounds god awful. I mean virtually unlistenable. The bass is turned up to 11, the mids are non existent and the high sound tinny, hollow and disturbing lol. Turning off the HK "on stage/audience" crap modes, helps a bit. In my other cars the xm radio was never really good, but it was never THIS bad. Kind of frustrating.

Sirius/XM normally provides a great tone... but some channels aren't a good in my experience.

SiriusXM is heavily compressed. You won't get good sound quality on any of the channels. It steams at 64-128kb.

Does the “clarify” setting make a difference here? I don’t listen to satellite radio so I can’t say.

I think the clarify setting actually makes it worse imo.

It does but it still doesn't sound anything like a true high quality source.

If SXM was $1-2 a month it would be worth getting but with their crazy cable-like packages and pricing I just wish it didn't come in my car. This pop-up is going to annoy the hell out of me and I hope there's a way to turn it off.

That would be infuriating. I would call them maybe, and tell them you dont want their shitty quality hipster music lol.
