I recently purchased a lap3 1.5 and waiting for delivery. I am currently running a jb4 with ewg wires and PNP fuel wires. Do you know if I need to, or should unhook everything or could I run the lap3 with the jb4 still fully hooked up?

Turn on bit 0 5 6 then you are good to go.

Also if you’re using bit 7 for your JB4 maps, you should turn it off. They wouldn’t work with lap3 tune since you don’t have any extra boost from JB4 to be reduce during part throttle daily driving.

You'd be a fool to scrap the JB. How will you log when you have issues? Or read and clear codes? Or improve performance by adding WMI/CPI?

Car Scanner Pro and a good Bluetooth scanner can do logs and codes but I would keep it if you plan to run WMI.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I wasn't planning on getting rid of the JB4. Just wondering if I can or should control the boost after I get the lap3 installed.
Gotcha, in that case only a log will determine whether you can or should run more boost. It's all about what your timing looks like. ;)

I'd disconnect the EWG wires.

Would use Map6 and just use the jb4 for logging only. If you end up with some sort of overboost, the JB4 is a good safety for reducing that.
