So now that I have my new 19' Stinger GT1, let the suspension mods begin. I have read quite a bit about anti-sway bars for our cars and from that I have a couple thoughts/assumptions that I want to bounce of the rest of the community.

My Goal: I want to reduce the amount of body roll / "floatiness" as much as possible without the ride being overly harsh or start bending end links (Trying to avoid buying upgraded ones) and without spending lots of cash. So I am trying to see if doing only anti-sway bars will achieve my goals without having to do also do lowering springs, end links, or chassis bolt inserts.

The Brands I've considered and my thoughts/assumptions about each:

1. Eibach - Good warranty, good product history, I think the soft setting may be too soft (From what I've read) for what I want and the harder setting too stiff (May bend stock endlinks).
2. Whiteline - Same as Eibach but more expensive
3. ARK Performance - This one intrigues me because the front and rear bars are thicker than both Eibach and Whiteline but they are not adjustable (Which likely won't matter since I won't use the stiff setting). This means that in theory, since they are a little thicker, the one setting should be stiffer than the "Soft" setting for Eibach and Whiteline. Can anyone comment with their experience with these? Or has anyone else gone down this road can comment and advise?

Thanks!

Congratulations, you are going to love this car! Eibach front and rear is the ticket at least for me; removed the floatiness of the back end over bumps while taking turns at speed and did not make the ride more harsh. Stiff setting in back and soft in front using original end links no issues. Good luck

I am running the same settings as Chucky. Soft front, firm rear. Love the handling now!

Congratulations on your new car.
The majority of members on this forum who have aftermarket sway bars fitted would have Eibach, me included had them fitted since Oct 2018 on softest setting with no issues, I did however upgrade to Whiteline HD End Links in April for no other reason as a personal choice & it took the handling capability to another step up.
Either way you go it is a vast improvement in handling...enjoy.

The Eibachs are more expensive than Whiteline. I paid $100 less for my Whiteline set than the set from eibach

I will probably have the front and rear bars installed by a shop or Kia Service Dept. What have others paid for the install? I am being quoted $210 by Kia Service.

Where are you located? I’m sure wherever you are there’s someone on here that could recommend a reputable shop. Or if you have the resources available you could just do them yourself

I live in North DFW. I could do it myself but really would rather not.

You might go to Twiggmans auto detail on facebook and ask Kyle. He installed mine and did a great job. He does some work for Moritz installing aftermarket parts. Tell him you were referred by someone on the forum who he has done work for. His shop is on sW loop 820.

I have an Eibach rear sway, stock front.

The rear is kind of a bitch TBH. I did mine while I was putting in the Ark GT-F springs and the sway took twice as long as the rear springs. if someone will do it for $210 it's probably worth it.

The front looks like cake, could probably be done in under 30 min.

The front in mine only took about 30 minutes. The rear took about 40 minutes. My smaller hands made it easier

The mechanic couldn't do rear in under hour. It's pretty amazing you did it 40. I am planning do front soon by myself.

Wow. It wasn’t even as bad as I kept reading people were saying it was. Popped the backend up, took the wheels off, disconnected the endlinks and took out the sway bar. The part that took the longest was getting the collar clamps on.

How difficult were the fronts?

The hardest part is lifting the car up and getting on Jack stands or ramps and removing the wheels. Just manual labor. You have to remove one cover on the bottom. The sway bar part is pretty easy.

Easy peasy. The hardest part was getting the new bushing to crush down enough so you can start the bolts for the retainer
Would some Vice Grips work to make crushing down the bushings easier?

I just put my palm underneath the retainer and pushed up while trying to get the first bolt started. I don’t remember if there was enough room to get a clamp on.
