Two days in a row. I got curb rash yesterday trying to get out of the airport during rush hour and scuffed up the wheels on the driver's side. Today a f*cking city bus pulls into the middle of the road and have to move as far right as I can without hitting the curb while simultaneously some idiot comes speeding up behind even as the speed limit on the street was 30 Mph, probably trying to get a closer look at my damn stinger. I thought I was away from the curb enough but nope. Scuffed up the wheels on the passenger side. Unfuckingbelievable! Its worse since my wheels are black.

Has anyone had experience repairing this problem? How much do you think I'd be looking at at a shop?

sucks man.

Depends on where you are I guess, and how much damage. I let my brother in law borrow the car (never again btw), and it came back with both rears lightly curb rashed. Cost 240 to have them fixed. They did a nice job and it took a day and a half to get done.

Classic. Been there, done that. LoL. There is an "alloy wheel repair" place in my city that apparently is supposed to do a great job with all sorts of wheel damage. These types of shops are somewhat rare, but you could probably find one near you if you aren't out in the sticks.

oh yes. but black wheels are the easiest / quickest to make look presentable from a few feet away. you can even employ a fat black marker as a temporary until you get touch up paint.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Painted rim that should be repairable

That’s repairable.

At least you didn't hit a rock

Did you charge your BiL for the fix?
