I was advised by a kia car sales guy that the sunroof is optional in the top spec GT
Is this true ? all the top spec ones I see advertised online all have a sunroof including the Stingers in the dealership car yards.

Not in the US. All the GT1s and GT2s have a sunroof, can't speak for the AUS market though. Check Kia's website, it should make it fairly clear if the sunroof is optional or not.

I believe it's a standard feature.

As far as I’m aware the GT and GT-Line come with a sunroof as standard and there is no ability to opt out of this option. I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that maybe this is a case of a car salesman not knowing their product? Unbelievable, I know......

100% the salesman has no idea, as stated above AU Top Spec GT & GT Line are std with sunroof with no option to delete, I have asked that same question to my dealer when I was negotiating my purchase.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I do believe you can request it be made without one direct from factory. Some one on forum actually did this.

Thanks for reply guys.I think the guy didn't know what he was talking about, it was the same guy that pointed to a Stinger stating " that's the top spec GT " when I had to point out it wasn't coz it didn't have the Brembos. I like the sunroof anyway, just wanted to clarify what he said.:)

IF you go back there and IF he uses the phrase “top spec GT’ again you can point out to him that this is in fact a tautology. The trim levels are S, Si and GT, not low, mid or top spec GT. So GT is by definition, the top spec. He might think you’re a pedant but he’ll know not to bullshit you.[/QUOTE]
