Does anyone make one of these for a Stinger? I can't find any and sun washing out my display happens a lot more than I thought it would.

if this were my concern I'd try making one. try sticky backed sheet vinyl first. it should be stiff enough to hold its shape and would adhere all the way around the media screen edge. scotch multi-task tape could be used to really secure it once in place.

I could model and 3d print one if there were interest.

I was also coming here to say this, but you beat me to it! Just remember to use something other than PLA, the sun will melt that stuff like its made of play doh haha

3D printing was my next thought. Getting something specific for the model I have. I was also toying with the idea of adding an arm attached to the back on the driver's side to hold a cell phone mount. My design would be one that wraps over the top and around the back, vs being a stuck-on version like the one pictured.

Why not just use a glare resistant screen protector type material?

Because glare isn't the problem, it's washout from light.
Perhaps I don't understand the difference because I haven't experienced it in this circumstance. I've experienced it with various lenses and whatnot, just not in my infotainment screen. I can see I'm not much help here so I'll see myself out. Good luck.

My apologies. I had the definition of glare and washout reversed in my head. When you mentioned anti-glare I was thinking of anti-reflection, when glare is* the technical issue I'm experiencing. Sorry about that. I wasn't trying to be dismissive of your suggestion, I thought it was simply a misunderstanding. I was correct in that, but it was me that was misunderstanding.

I haven't seen an antiglare screen for a car display, but I haven't looked either. I will look into that. Thank you!

This helped me to clarify what the terms meant.

No worries! I think it uses a similar material to the anti-glare material they put on glasses or cell phones, but those two could both be totally different, also. I believe they have anti-glare sprays. Not sure what would work best, but I know they have all sorts of shapes and sizes of screen protector type anti-glare films that might help.
