That looks like it is on the door, which is a steel panel. If left alone, it will rust. Cover it up with some paint to keep it from rusting. If you don't like the repair, hire a pro.

Thanks. Yeah. I used a primer pen first. Then touchup paint. So it should stay rust free. Pretty happy with the job. Since it's on the downslope of the door panel you can't really see it unless you are low and at the right angle. From more the 3 feet away it's very hard to spot, and I know where it is.
