Maybe I’m alone here, but I’m looking for a solid way to do with some reprogramming, or change some things around. I HATE the way the buttons in my Stinger are oriented and programmed for the fuel door, and hatch open function. They’re angled weirdly down, and the fuel release is directly in top of the hatch release, right? Well the fuel door release is an overly sensitive *instant* release, while the hatch has to be held 5 seconds to operate. And the way they’re angeled next to my left knee combined with my butterfingers mashing the buttons, every time I open my hatch it’s guaranteed that I pop the fuel release.

Anyone else? Or just me.

Either way, stupid.

Lol. Howdy and welcome. I've bumped the fuel door open a mere few times, and not for years. You can go to all the fuss and bother of looking for solutions to a non problem, or adapt your physical body to interface with the design features of this particular car. Break the habits formed in other cars, that are causing you all of this grief.

I'd love a button to unlatch the hatch. Base model has no power lift gate an no buttons inside. If doors are unlocked one can open the hatch by pressing on the button below the plate. No fob buttons or indoor buttons unlatch. A bit of an oversight IMO. Numerous cars in the past had no power lift for trunk/hatch but did have a button to release the latch.

Is there a dash light for a fuel door open condition? There is for hood open. In fact, I'd love to know what/where the sensor for that is. When I leave the battery tender attached with the hood slightly open, light will blink in accessory mode indicating hood is open.

I just saw everything, everywhere, all at once this past weekend, which really really makes me want to post a hot dog fingers picture.
