Over the past few weeks I've noticed some strange behavior, mostly while in comfort mode. If I take off under full throttle from a stop the car will rev to 6500+ rpm, it's almost as if the engine over-revs when doing this and then it will shift, it sounds odd like it's about to hit the rev limiter. If I flip it to sport mode and do the same thing under full throttle it will shift around 6000 rpm and behave exactly as it should. I did test this out and it seems to happen the first time I go full throttle from a stop through the gears and then after that it shifts normally If I repeat.

One thing to mention is that the car has been driven for 5-10 miles before doing this and is up to temp. I noticed yesterday it exhibited this same behavior in sport mode the first attempt, it went to 6500+ rpm to shift to 2nd and then all subsequent full throttle accelerations shifted at 6000 (or whatever the car shifts at in auto mode in sport). Traction control is on and I'm not seeing anything flashing on the dash to indicate any sort of wheel spin either.

The only thing that I've done differently since this started happening is run Costco 92 octane fuel, prior to this happening I was exclusively running BP 93 octane fuel. I doubt that is the culprit here but I thought I'd mention it.

Has anyone else experienced this? It is colder here (MN) so it's in the 20s and 30s when this is occurring. I purchased the car a few months ago and the weather was similar but this issue was not present then. Aside from this odd behavior, it runs extremely strong. This is all being done in auto mode, I don't think this is even an issue if manual shifting.

Does it sound like this in the video? If yes, then I think that is the throttle being cut to allow for an upshift. Or what I think I was told.

I had actually asked this same question about a week or so ago.

nope, it sounds exactly like this video at 29 seconds, hitting the rev limiter. It will make that sound like it’s hitting the rev limiter and then eventually shift. It’s like the car doesn’t know what to do the first time it’s launched hard from a stop every time I have it out. The second time I try it will shift normally without hitting the limiter.
