Hi all:

First-time car owner (2022 Stinger GT-Line). Anticipate leaving the car in our garage for a few months while away. (Large underground garage under our South Florida condo building.)

Planning to follow the guidelines found in articles like this one at the J.D. Power website: "How to Store a Car Long Term" (store in garage, clean car, cover, top off tank, oil change, use chucks instead of emergency break, add STA-BIL).

What are your thoughts on using STA-BIL Storage Fuel Stabilizer? Any other recommendations or trips?

Thanks in advance!

I've used stabil when storing motorcycle for 5-6 months. If you're going to use it, use the marine grade, it's better.

Disconnecting the battery is a good idea if you can't connected a battery tender.

Maybe add a few more psi to the tires too...

I use Stabil also especially I have E in my tank and keep it full. Check your tires and have a battery maintainer.

Ethanol tends to absorb moisture, so gotta keep that fresh.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Always fresh and always keep the tank full. I’ve been doing this with my E92335i and Audi.

literally just 2 things.
  • fill the fuel tank to the tippity top
  • flip the switch to "OFF"

When you revive the vehicle
  • flip the switch to "on"
  • enjoy
