I’m currently driving on F 20 X 9 R 20 X 10.5. Just purchased the H&R lowering springs. Want to know from my fellow Stinger driver should I go thicker on tires or put the stocks back on for the winter???
I’m RWD I’m running All season tires. We barely get snow down here in the Carolinas just cold weather maybe down in 20s.A couple things to consider. Are you RWD or AWD? Are you running all seasons on your 20s? Do you get snow in your area or really low temps?
Gotcha. Well then it's personal preference then. Im up in the northeast and when the weather gets bad and the snow plows come out they salt the roads and the roads get sketchy and pitted etc. So I went back to 19s for that fact alone. I will say that going with wider tires will only benefit you in the warmer temperatures. You actually want the opposite when you're dealing with cold/snow or dedicated winter tires.I’m RWD I’m running All season tires. Lmaooo I’m sorry I just noticed thatIf you don't really get much snow, especially if you're not really driving around much or at all in it, then you're probably good with what you have. Unless you get bad pot holes in the winter. Then you might want to go with something that'll provide a little more protection.
Also, the use of both wheels and rims in your topic kills me![]()
