So i want to get feedback from people who have driven both a GT and a GT1 or GT2 on the suspension feel between the mechanical vs the adjustable.

I will say i have driven a GT2 RWD and a GT@ AWD, i own a GT AWD and drive it daily. My preference is for the GT mechanical suspension. Based on what i had planned to do this car paying extra for a suspension that i would end up removing didnt make sense. Now that i have some serious seat time i'm actually reconsidering changing the suspension at all.

Does anyone else feel the same or am i crazy?

I don't own a Stinger but have had some seat time in a GT for multiple test drives and for a daily driver, the suspension setup is really good. Didn't realize until later that the GT didn't get the adjustable suspension. I was really impressed with how it rode and handled and actually feel it is more than sufficient for road use. If you plan on tracking it or really pushing it in corners, then you may want to upgrade the suspension, if not keep it as is.

I never drove a GT but I drove a 2.0T Premium. I liked the feel of my GT2 adaptive suspension better. But not sure there is a huge difference.

What's nice about the OEM GT2 suspension is that I can take my wife out and she won't hate the ride.

Sorry I can’t give a comparison since I never drove one with the standard suspension. However I can say that I absolutely love the adjustable suspension on my GT2. In comfort mode it glides over railroad tracks and choppy roads, but put it in Sport and it feels even more glued to the road. When powering out of a turn I can actually feel the suspension firm up, counter the body roll and flatten the rear to help takeoff! Its truly amazing.

It’s then nice being able to put it back to comfort mode and literally feel “comforted.”:DI’ve had multiple people compliment me on how nice the ride is and one said it was similar to their 750i.

I’m sure both suspensions are amazing but IMHO the adjustable suspension is worth every penny.
