Hey all, wondering if anyone knew what metal they use on the stock exhaust? Is it aluminized steel, stainless steel (and type), etc.

Almost positive its aluminized steel, it would cost them a lot more money if it was stainless.

It's not a cheap car and it needs to last long enough to make it through the warranty period.

From the way it discolors over time it appears to be constructed om mostly stainless steel. Aluminized steel looks more flat and doesn't really discolor unless it's rusting.

One way to test would be to use a magnet on it. Stainless should be nearly nonmagnetic, while the aluminized steel will strongly attract a magnetic.

It's strongly magnetic. BUT there is some stainless steel like 409 or mild steel that are magnetic. So it's def not 304 stainless steel but could be aluminized steel or 409 Stainless steel.

It's unlikely to be mild steel as that's even weaker than aluminized steel for corrosion.
