I am wanting to get rid of my BOVs and go back to stock bypass valves. Upon reading I found diverter valves. How I see it they will do the same as the bypass vavles and not vent to atmosphere. Is there any significance to going this route over stock bypass valves?

From my understanding . . .

BOV/Diverter/Bypass . . . all the same thing

Its just how you choose to manage the air coming out. You can vent to Atmos, which caused a SLIGHT delay and slight increase in AFR to richer side (since losing air)

If you recirculate (run a hose from the BOV/DV/BV to the Intakes), then you won't get the noise as much (unless you got with BOV and still recir) but it will react slightly better.

I mean, I guess you could even take the hoses off the stock ones and cap off the intakes and it would act in the same way, just produce a different sound (not as high pitched as BOV)
