Damn stink bugs have stopped our imports also, massive delays due to not enough fumigation specialists in Germany and some of the gases used
are banned in Germany, sounds like a WWII joke but it's true, upto 8 weeks for our containers to get through.

Hate those damn things- fortunately, a couple winters ago, here in Illinois, we had a unusually warm day in late January. Little bastards came out of hibernation, just as the temperature dropped to below zero temps. Entomologist say over 75% of then got wiped out. Since then, there presence in the fall has been getting thinner and thinner. This year, I only saw about 10-15 of them- about six got into my house through the ventilation- and that has been all. I can actually open my patio door now and get a nice breeze without fear of those bastard getting in, as they used to cover up the screen door. Now? Nada!

Amazing to believe a humble bug (damn ugly one at that) can cause these types of delays in importing cars. Unbelievable.

A simple change in badging of just one letter, "Kia StinKer", would at least get a few of their product through customs.
