Hope Stinger is not a one-off like Gennie coupe. It created a lot of followers but they were heart broken in the end since Hyundai decided to discontinue.

I'm not up on anything that these guys did in earlier attempts with "sporty" cars but I would have to believe that with the effort and input of guys like Bierman and Schreyer as well as all the R and D , testing and setting International benchmarks they have too much skin in the game not to make this successful ......................lots of doubters out there but I'm betting on them

Well, the Genesis Coupe will be returning built on the Genesis G70 platform. So it's only taken a bit of a hiatus...

I feel the same way. The Kia Stinger isn't a first generation Genesis Coupe. This is a much more competitive car than that was. There were no serious comparisons to Germans cars with the Genesis Coupe.

Doesn't that just say it all about the way the Stinger is being promoted so far? I can't wait for the actual, real, honest-to-goodness, street-legal version.

The exhaust definitely sounded modified in the video with the gray car. There's also another overhead video circulating on Twitter, although I couldn't find an official Kia source. Here's both of them...

Likewise, it was a great little event. I didn’t put the deposit down that night but I did it today. I went with ceramic silver with merlot (red) interior. My prevoius car was black as is my current car. So I thought I’d get something different. Plus I like the fact it’s supposed to look clean longer even when it’s a little dusty The GM told me Atlanta is getting the most amount of Stingers in the East coast and the biggest chunk is coming to his dealership. So far They have 8 preorders.

Silver and grey definitely stay cleaner (looking) longer. Especially more so that black or white. Here in Florida that's important (to me) because it's either raining or sunny and dry with sprinklers going off everywhere. I can never really keep my car clean.
