Alright guys I been on this forum for a little while since I got my Stinger and poked into a post or two about Stinger trailers and hitches and what a pain in the rear anus they are to find nowadays.
I know some people just can't wrap their heads around this idea I've had for a while, so far I've only found people using a Stinger to tow motor bikes and probably/mostly regular bikes, but I've had something a bit different in mind. Perhaps there are others who think outside the box like me, as I'm sure I would have died to see someone else already attempt this with their Stinger and hear their experiences but at least up until now I don't know anyone who's done this yet and lived to tell about it lol.

Long story short I've finally made it and living the dream lol, at least for the past several days so far :)
Not to mention during this first trip I also managed to pack 2 foldable ebikes, a bike trailer and my E-Skateboard all within my Stinger and the trailer.

If I didn't have a small family I could see myself living that vanlife/RV life where you travel wherever you want, work remotely and power your home and electronics solely with solar panels, lithium batteries and the Stingers alternator. I actually have all these items but not fully set them up yet. The best part is driving your beautiful dream car and not some huge ugly bulky truck. If you want to dump the trailer and cruise around the city maybe participate in some underground street races for pink slips, you can park the trailer at the nearest campground, or if you want to quickly roam around a new downtown city looking for food take the ebikes, at least thats the idea :). But right now the plan is just weekend trips to week long trips around NA exploring with the family.

Before everyone freaks out, some might already know this but the Stinger is rated in Australia to pull 3300lbs, where as this trailer only weighs 1200-1500lbs.
See below :p (Kia Stinger | Tow Car Awards)

Anyways I'm pretty excited about this and just thought I'd share my experiences and that yes... It is indeed possible. :)

I don't get it but my rule of thumb is............you do you :)

And regarding posting pics and links... I have no clue if/when I can post those unfortunately.
you have to post more, at least 15 posts, maybe it's more now, to get out of the dog house as a 'newish' member. it doesn't matter how long ago you signed up.

Heh yeah I figured most people would be in that mindset... But just my 2 cents, if you have a truck that lets say you tow with but you have a Stinger that can lets say tow just as well for smaller trailers, why buy a truck and not use the Stinger? I love the Stinger I want to drive it all the time. Thats the way I look at it anyways :P

Plus I just like trying new things and thinking outside the box lol.

I have a truck (gen 2 Ford Lightning) and a Stinger, its not really made to tow much, was actually thinking about taking off the hitch until last weekend. Had some trees cut down in my yard. Guy wanted extra to haul them away I said nah, we'll do it ourselves. Thinking about borrowing my neighbors trailer to make the process go faster. I've literally never even hooked up a trailer in my life before.

Dude that is Epic!!! Full support!! I'm glad your out of the box and doing cool'er things other than decorating it with bling lights, and racing it!

Interesting.

whoa that's scary looking, and cool at the same time I admit. the reason why I don't have a trailer hitch on a stinger is because they are ugly. but a member did up one recently that is tucked in there so secretively that you actually have to get down and look for it. but that said, if you have one stinger and two trailers that seems like overkill and if you load up that second trailer much it'll be pushing the car.

edit never mind I see that the second trailer is from a contest winner and not your white pearl. was that original your inspiration?

Could be worse, there is an Mercedes C300 running around my town with a rooftop tent.
