Installed the hood vents today. Nice quality and fit. Some info on product and install.

Removing the hood liner, I used this pry tool. Some retainer clips were disfigured so I replaced all with new ones. Go slow and work around the clips. Breaking them off means a piece of plastic rattling around in your hood.

The Stinger Haus faux air vents have 3 10mm nut connections instead if 4 like the OEM vents. They still secured very well. Do not over tighten when replacing the nuts. Tighten till VERY little resistance.

The install video also does not tell you about the clips surrounding the OEM vents. You have to pry up with one pry tool and push the clips in with another to dislodge. I started at the front of the vents and worked my way back. Also taped off around the vents to protect the paint.

Finished! Love the look! These suckers are expensive, but hell ... you only live once! Drive safe ya'll! Out.

Too bad those vents aren't functional .

Agreed. Here they are on mine. I wrapped the center strake to give it some contrast (hard to tell from angle but the wrap matches the brake vent strake)...they look much meaner from inside also! Dont have any closer shots...sorry.

As Rango mentioned, fitment was above average. I chose NOT to use the adhesive since my car will be going for repaint and will use the adhesive after that. They are holding just fine with the 3 bolts as is.FLG-X.webp Stinger Desert.webp

They look great.

Been thinking about these and the rear diffuser, but didn't know it was that expensive. :notworthy:
