Just joined this site.
I recently started to enhance the performance of my car. So far I have installed, borla exhaust with resonators, Eibach, jB4, intake and inter cooler. Now I am working towards down pipes. Any suggestions? Do I need to install mid and down pipes or just down pipe? I am also looking to customize JB4 mapping and looking for some help here. Question, in order to keep exhaust noice not to loud, can I install resonators on down and mid pipes? Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to the forum!

The secondary catalytic converters are pretty restricting and I don't think they really do much for the environment. Installing secondary downpipes will make your car a little bit louder, but it will also give you more power, increase your MPG, and your car will still pass smog in most cases.

If you are looking to maximize performance, I highly suggest getting a downpipe. I have heard about people having boost issues and smog issues with a full catless downpipe, so I only recommend going with a "High Flow Cat".

We do have additional resonators available to alter the sound of the exhaust, but that would be installed within part of the catback, not in the downpipes.

I did order ultimate performance down and mod pipes from K8 Stinger store last Sunday. However, they haven’t been shipped yet
I already have resonators installed in my borla exhaut. Not sure if I can install more resonators that’s only if the exhaust get too loud after installing downpipes
