Welcome to the Yellow club!

Timing is everything I guess. I just called my local kia dealer and asked why I saw a yellow stinger on YouTube but could not order one. He told me they just rolled 1 Limited edition Yellow GT2 off the truck and it was 1 of 400. I said sold! Lol

Welcome aboard, @David Raygor! Thank you for signing up. And congratulations on your brand new limited edition Stinger GT! What car did it replace? How did it feel driving home? :)

Thank you, the GT replaced my wife's 2001 Honda Civic. She drove the civic a long time and I wanted her to have a really nice car since she has put up with me all these years...lol. My baby is a 2001 C5 corvette and this addition will give the vette a good stable mate. I told the wife I wasn't sure which car was the fastest now, I think she may have top dog. Cars cost a lot of $$ these days and there is such a thing as the cost to "get" or the cost to "have." I'm pretty sure she will "have" a really bitchin car.

Hah! Well I think the Vette will be outrun by the Stinger GT in a straight line. :p Maybe you need to give her the C5! :D

I'm looking to sell my C5 and get a Yellow GT2 hopefully tomorrow if the delivery is on schedule and they can mark it down enough. I've loved this C5 for 14 years now but it seems too redundant to have both. I'll miss how light and nimble it is but I have a feeling the Stinger will be the perfect amalgam of my Corvette and Optima.

You'll enjoy the Stinger for sure. I'm keeping my C5 because it was my bucket list and I do enjoy driving it on nice days.

Congrats! Make sure they remove that "Carriage" logo on the rear end. I told my dealer either they pay me monthly for the advertising or they remove their logo lol

GT2 RWD here in AZ...loved the color from first time saw it in person. Took a few dealers to get but its mine now.

From what I could tell...only 4 in AZ...2 GT2 RWD, 1 GT2 AWD, and 1 GT RWD.

Love seeing all the looks driving this around.

Let's hope Kia keeps the yellow rare and unavailable for the future.

That's easy to say once you've already got one. I ended up with a base GT instead of a GT2, but I love it. I'm sick of how many black/white/grey/silver cars are sold in America and I'm 100% for Kia bringing Sunset Yellow or any other color here. More color on the roads makes me happy, even if it makes my own car a little less rare.

Funny that the only colors I actually wanted... Sunset yellow and deep chroma blue end up being limited editions.

I'm good with other colors...at least let us get a bit of mileage on the limited part. I feel we have earned it dealing with these dealers.

I tend to agree with @davebo on colors. It seems that the high-priced badges like MB, BMW, Lexus and others pushed various shades (if you can call it that) of "silver" on 75% of all their cars, so many like that shade of metallic gray (as I call it) as being somehow "expensive." JMHO, of course, and there are no bad colors on a Stinger, but I like colors, and gray is not a color when half the cars on the road are some variation of gray. The bright ones stand out, including white (which is really sharp with the light/dark contrasting trim) and yellow, of course. Again, just my personal hangup. I buy cars, not colors.
