I have been following the forum very closely and based on different people's feedback on 10% off MSRP on GT2, i reached out to dealers near Seattle area and most of them are seem to like not offering that kind of sale price. Anyways one thing I realized from all different threads on leasing, folks didn't mention the Acquisition fees in their threads. Did you folks pay the same and was it 650? I believe this is constant and is not negotiable. I am trying to lease the vehicle for 36\10.
Any body from Seattle and near by areas who have been able to manage upto 10% of MSRP before the incentives kick in?

Best I was able to get was 7% off MSRP + the lease cash...the "best deals" you see on here are usually in different states. WA Kia dealers don't seem willing to negotiate huge discounts. Can always go out of state if you really want/need that extra discount. The $650 fee is non-negotiable (my understanding as well).

FYI: I live in the Seattle area and I did 24/10 to get the biggest lease cash as I am just going to buy it out.

Thanks for the response. I probably need to then reset my expectations if I need to pick one up from WA state.

Which dealerships have you spoken to?

I was considering e-mailing: Kia of Puyallup, Car Pros Renton, Lee Johnson Kia to see if they bite with good % off MSRP. If all else fails, I was considering traveling to Socal for a good discount.

Edit: Traveling out of state may be good but you'll have to figure out the lease cash and residual/MF for that particular zip code. May or may not be worth it.

I am already in conversation with Performance Kia, Chuck Olson Kia, Lee Johnson Kia. Car Pros I didn't see any inventory (for GT2 AWD) and hence did not reach out. Even I don't prefer to do an out of state purchase but if all dealers here are very firm on not doing discounts, then I need to just move on or look for something else..

Dick Hannah, Kia Puyallup have non-whites. Though, I plan on putting Dick Hannah low on priority though because of bad yelp reviews (despite their good dealerrater score).

I bought mine from Lee Johnson and it was a painless experience (as much as buying a car can be).

Purchase details (GT1 AWD):
MSRP: $48,550
Selling Price: $44,850
Final lease buyout: $42,300 (TTL included)

The MSRP on the car was $48,550 (so would have been ~$54K with TTL) and my lease buyout is $42,300 (TTL included). I consider a roughly $12K discount overall to be pretty good. You might be able to eek out another $1-2K by going out of state, just depends what your time & effort is worth.

I drove to Bellingham to get mine. I got a discount because I purchase my 2.0 Stinger from them a year before and my car was a demo with 400 miles.

MSRP was 54k and the deal they offered was around 46k before the incentives. If you’re willing to go to Oregon, check out the specials Power Kia has on their GT2.

Thanks for the tip. I think you got a pretty good deal on the GT2 from Bellingham. 46K is really good price.

Just got mine from Lee Johnson, 2018 GT2 from Canada, 450 miles on it for $36k. Feel like I got a deal as it has many of the 2019 US version options.
