I got mine a week ago. This morning early drive in Arizona, using Hwy 88 from Apache Junction to past Tortilla Flat.

Three buddies with RS5, Challenger, and VW Bug Turbo. Nice winding freshly paved road in a beautiful part of the state, and virtually no traffic at 5:45 am. Stinger felt really good. No body roll. No squealing tires. Great brakes. Nice roar. I was so busy I did not get to try the paddle shifters too much. Stinger-gt-ocotillo.webp
Buddy Don took the picture with Stinger and ocotillo background. Beautiful! I think he should sell it to kia.com for their gallery.

Impressive! But I don't understand "... was so busy I did not get to try the paddle shifters too much". Those were the feature I tried out first, and used all the way down to TX and back.

That’s a great photo, and it looks like a fun road to drive on. Which car was faster?

Yeah, this thing handles like a dream, glad someone else is enjoying the benefits of living where it isnt flat. :p I had the pleasure of taking my Stinger on this road on Saturday:

~13 miles for the pictured section, 8-10% grade once you hit the North/South section. Good times! Hit a speed that I won't admit to on the straightaway at the start, and took those 25mph switchbacks at 50-55ish. I've discovered a new love for curves. Lol.

Will have to start hunting for roads like yours near me!

That is a great photo and a fun drive by the sounds of it.
Welcome and congrats

Took my baby on her first road trip out of Key West to Miami and actually averaged a surprising 35mpg

Nice economy there, I think it will meet and beat listed economy figures when it’s not being flogged.

One pic? JUST ONE PIC?????

Can't see it. I think it shows 34.something. Even if it isn't quite 35 MPG, that is very impressive; almost unbelievably good. The best I've had so far was touching 29 MPG. I keep passing things. That engages the engine in virtual Sport mode, which of course you pay for with lower MPG.

(edit: Oh, there it is; clicking on the thumbnail in your post only brought up a dinky pic; clicking on the link in your quoted post doubled the size of the pic. Strange.)

34.8 was the actual number. It was a mission to see what I could get. Once I hit the turnpike in Miami it was game on

@Steve0 you caught my edit: I reduced the estimation of pic size to doubled. You didn't leave me much time! It looked three times bigger at first, but on reviewing it got "smaller", to my eyes. It's easy to exaggerate.

If I remember right it's perfect driving conditions for good MPG, for the most part, two lane road, low speed limit, not many traffic signals. If you drive slow and steady, you can get good MPG in this car (GT).
