I haven't noticed any on the freeway yet I'm going to do another video that focuses more on the sound and get my mic setup properly so I can get inside the car shots at freeway speeds and a couple other things that we didn't have time to get that nightThank you for posting this! What’s your take on any drone from the exhaust?
Lol, you silly bunchI think that porsche would kill my ears on daily drives. Sadly, there's close to nothing I can do where I live for more sound :/ Sounds betetr after .. although we still have a "windy" car where it sounds like a lot of gases get past doing not too much. My favorite sound so far was the Borla, but it may bee too loud for daily use

Yeah, I'm mainly concerned with drone. My Mustang with Gibson catback sounded awesome from the outside but inside you couldn't hold a normal conversation!I haven't noticed any on the freeway yet I'm going to do another video that focuses more on the sound and get my mic setup properly so I can get inside the car shots at freeway speeds and a couple other things that we didn't have time to get that night
If you didn't already capture any, it might be handy to have someone with the same model but stock exhaust record comparison video of various conditions - cruising at 70, accelerating 50-70, etc., captured with the same device, i.e. iPhone 6S strapped to a headrest.
And that digital sound is only actually pumped in when we're in sport mode, right?the stock exhaust literally has no sound whatsoever what you hear in the car is the digital sound produced and put through your speakers that's it the digital sound is louder than the stock exhaust
No it's there all the time so when I do another video of the inside sound I'll have to turn it down but I don't think you can actually turn it off completely it's always on. But right now when I step on it the new exhaust overpowers the inside exhaust sound without a problemAnd that digital sound is only actually pumped in when we're in sport mode, right?
And what about the artificial sound pumped in when we're in Custom mode? I think if you dive into settings there it allows you to turn it off completely. No it's there all the time so when I do another video of the inside sound I'll have to turn it down but I don't think you can actually turn it off completely it's always on. Edit: Yeah, we have the option to turn it down, so maybe play with that, too:

I like that idea betterIt's difficult anyway to convex exhaust sounds through the net. Mediafiles sound different than the real thing ... most don't use any high end microphones. And then are played through whatever speakers people have.
Also: Exhausts have to settle first. The BMW Performance one I have on the M135xi sounds better than ever atm .. they develop their growls.
Let's hear what it sounds like in a while![]()
