Good to see Sonic getting into the spirit of the season. Did you get the bonnet ding repaired?
No, it's getting done next week on Friday

Sonic looks great as always. it looks as if you have gone all out with the christmas lights around the front of the garage, garden and also the house I presume.

In the house it's a bit more toned down, one big Christmas tree, a small fibre optic one in the other living room, some tinsel that's about it.
The family laughed and the 17 year old commented " we don't get a family photo at Christmas and you're taking one of the car " .....
I replied it's Sonic's first Christmas, my hubby replied " you're tragic ":whistle: :laugh::rofl:

I guess Sonic is part of the family now also, I believe if you own a car like Stinger, you have to be sort of obsessed by it, and kind of in love with it, and always acknowledge other Stinger drivers and just other drivers who show interest out there on the road, I find nothing worse than drivers who have such a unique car, but are not car enthusiasts, those are people with too much money, I would hate to experience being next to another Stinger on the road, and the driver and or passengers just ignore you, without a wave or smile or thumbs up, true Stinger and car enthusiasts take photos of their ride, and post it in forums like this one..:):thumbup:

It must pain you to see your beloved Stinger sitting out in all that snow. It would me. :( The equivalent here is leaving your Stinger out in 40 degrees Celcius temps. Amazing photo by the way Merlin.

A little bit of snow isn't going to hurt anything. Why buy an AWD car if you're not going to play in the snow?

For sure. It isn't the snow, it's all the danged salt that does damage. Kia warns in the manual to regularly remove salt from the undercarriage. On page 7 | 95: "In winter, hose off the underside of your vehicle at least once a month and be sure to clean the underside thoroughly when winter is over." I think a bare minimum of once a month, getting an under-chassis spray, probably answers the warranty recommendation. But I go in each time the roads turn wet again, and I see salt on the sides and rear of my car. If the salt spray is missing, and it's just dried on water spots, then an under-chassis spray isn't needed again since the last one.

(I just had my car sprayed from beneath this afternoon; had to go through twice, because the "tech" didn't push the select button long enough: I was standing there watching and the "under chassis" station light did not come on, so I told them to send it through again; gotta watch these high-paid "technicians", you know, to make sure they earn their pay.:))
