Exactly what i thought also, too raspy for my liking.

i wonder if it was just cold pipes. i've heard other clips of this that make it sound deep and throaty.

My Borla exhaust is awesome! The one in the video sounds like crap; mine is MUCH better than that lol very poor audio IMO. My Borla is deeper sounding and doesn't have that horrible tinny rasping sound like this video. The sound of mine seems to be getting better over time as well; more refined? I've also got the Injen intakes which sound amazing and the combination of the two produces a very noticeable backfire/burble when up-shifting from 1st to 2nd under hard acceleration. Also when the engine is spooling down the exhaust warbles and pops; it's one of my favorite things about my Stinger.

I think the audio quality of the video is very poor, the the mic distorts sound when it gets louder; when he first starts the car you can hear the sound surpasses the mics ability to pick it up effectively and it starts to sound like static, I think that is why this sounds so raspy, listen with headphones if you don't hear it.
