Stillen front lip splitter, anybody have one?

I heard bad things, but I don't have personal experience. If you do a search you should find a thread or 2

Other than it being really ugly the only thing I've read about it is that Stillen wants users to use just tape during install and some have had the lip fall off. That can be solved with screws.

there was a post from a member in the Middle East that had the factory lip come loose after prolonged high speed runs in the desert ..................use screws for sure :thumbup::thumbup:

I think I've been talked out of it. Price was right but spreek is coming out soon and its cf. not to mention gorgeous.
my only other issue would be how much it stuck out from the front, seems like a curb hugger issue !!
I'm thinking of the side winglets but havent found exactly what I want yet ............

I have one and took it off because the wind was causing the red lower bumper to come apart from the lower grille . I have attached a pic . I think it’s a design flow because under the bumper there is that black oem for lack of a better word lip that comes with the car . The STILLEN splitter fits on top of that lip and downforce wind was causing mine to pull apart from the bottom grille . I also had the splitter screwed in super tight . Since I have taken it off , no issues like I was having before

Stillen isn't faring too well with the Stinger market (at least from posts on the forum).

That splitter looks like a step for someone to climb into the engine bay.

Curious, do you think any of the mfgs of these add-ons do any testing for things like downforce or in a wind tunnel? I don't, and think these are more for looks than performance.

This is untrue
The lip from its conception was shipped with screws

So it's ugly, has damaged ppl's bumpers, but it DOES come with screws. Apologies.
