Still waiting for my 2022 Stinger GT

I ordered my Stinger GT in white with black trim in June 21, just over 7 months ago.
Still no ETA, I can’t wait to take delivery!
I just have to be patient.

Howdy. Aussies all have to be patient. The only Stingers going to buyers quickly are cancelled orders picked up by some lucky person. (Well, if you're okay with previously owned, and not particular about trim or color, that can work to bring a Stinger to you even faster than a cancelled order on a new car.)

I wonder if it will magically become a 2023 Stinger by the time you receive it. But yes patience is key.

Hello, I am new owner here.

My original order at Capitol Kia in CA was canceled, and down payment refunded. Without anyone calling me or telling me anything.

I'm very busy at work, and my retired father was so kind as to do most of the talking during the day, and all he got was a mention that ALL stinger production orders were cancelled, because they cannot meet production quotas. Besides that, all at Capitol Kia seemed to not care. Not much help.

So, what I expected to come in Feb 2022 did not pan out.

Luckily, My father during my time working, found the exact configuration I wanted coming into LA Carson KIA soon. I hopped on that, and bought it before it even got off the boat.

It is a 2022 GT2 AWG Panthera Metal, with Red interior, with puddle lights and all the fixens. A bit of a rare combo so far in CA.

I feel i'm dang lucky. I'm glad I got the combo I wanted and researched for months.

So here I am sharing me story, and joining the Stinger online club.

It'll be a wait mate, but worth it.
I had a 7 month wait, and still no build date. Fortunately for me last month a car matching my specs became available at my dealer when that buyer pulled out. I should have delivery later this month, ETA at the dealer is the 12th. Fingers crossed you pick up a cancelled order also.

Howdy and welcome. That's a story alright. What's this "ALL Stinger production orders were cancelled, because they cannot meet production quotes" all about? I haven't heard the like before. I think somebody is blowing hot air.

Hang in there mate. I ordered mine Jan 2021 and still waiting. Dealership contacted me about 3 weeks ago and said it might be here in March...

I was so lucky to find an ex-demo stinger in Melbourne last Friday. Paperwork all signed off today, picking up next week. August 2021 model, but only 2500km on the ODO.
