Hey guys, So this is a continuation of my last post a month ago which can be found below:
So, I uninstalled the JB4 and ordered a new intake gasket, upgraded lap 3 coil packs, and brand new hks spark plugs gapped at 0.24. I took it all to a trusted shop, had them install it and they said the gasket i had for the intake was flat, and some plugs which misgapped. Well, i took it home and it was pulling pretty good, Maybe slight hesitation or lag but other then that good.
I finally took it on a long drive which included the park way, So i really got on the engine etc, Well it seems like once i drive for longer then 30 minutes whenever i go into indle im having the same issue, weather its when im pulling up my drive way and before i put in park, or when im at a stop light. It stays idling at 1k rpm, and feels like its in gear and wants to go, on top of that i hear a noticably loud growling from the exhaust, which is not there when starting the car. I will say it only really does that idle and growl when i pull up my drive way before i put in park but still.
Im kinda at my wits end and unsure if im just making my self panic or if somethings wrong, Spending so much on parts and shit. Im thinking maybe its the Map sensor, or a fuel pump issue. This is the 3.3 so i havent seen much on fuel pump issues for them. If anyone has any thoughts it would be much appriciated. Thanks for coming to my ted talk lol.
TDLR: Had sparks, coil packs and gasket changed, still having 1k rpm and growling sounds after driving for longer then 20 minutes, mainly occurs when driving up my drive way prior to putting it in park.

Hey guys really hoping someone can help me out here. I have had my kia stinger gt 2018 for 2 years now, With 95k miles on it. I had recently upgraded spark plugs using hks gapped at proper spec, and ran map 3 on jb4 using my first ever mix of e30.
Few weeks pass, i run fuel injector cleaner and the car is making some weird sounds during idle after driving and stopping at lights, Its like growling and burbling in the back, Well then it progressed to shaking, like a boom box was in my trunk and youd feel it even in the front of the car, it sounds like "pressure" and i notice the rpm stays at 1k at lights. Im driving a few weeks ago, and boom i notice my car is extremely slugish, and im in comfort mode going 30 mph, i check the gear and its in like 6th or something, Immediantly i put it in sport mode and gears seem to be working good, then boom cel. I popped the following codes
- P0302
- P0603
-P00AA
- PAA00
Took to a shop, they told me to clear them and i did, they didnt come back on and said all is well.
Well now 2 weeks later (havent been driving car), i took the jb4 out entirely, and was driving doing nice pulls, then when going around 40 not going hard anymore when it suddenly felt like i lost power like a ton, I cant remember if the gear was out of place when i checked but i remember it feeling strange and then pulling into my drive way that violent rumbling from my gas tank / trunk came, along with idling at a soild 1k rpm.
Im really puzzled because at first im thinking maybe its a fuel pump, or maybe a clogged cat, but i really am unsure and would like some secondary opinions.
I have nothing done to my car now besides intakes and oil catch can.
