Steering Wheel Leather Feel?

Since the day I picked up the car I am noticing the leather on steering wheel at the top feels very rough at the back of the wheel. Almost like its worn out. I also have. Sedon SXL with leather wheel and it feels great by comparison.

Anyone else seeing or feeling wear or roughness on the steering wheel?

I have a couple of rough spots. I found that my wife had her ring turned around and it gouged the leather at times. Had to retrain her. Easy to overlook.

Well, technically it's her DD so it's either that or my 6-speed GTO and although she's an old farm girl and can drive a stick just fine, she likes the slushbox and the new car. Ya gotta do whatcha gotta do.

Oh, I see, it's her ride and you only get to share. Exact opposite of my situation/condition. "Dolly" bought this car for me. And other than a couple of very brief moments behind the wheel, she's never driven it; respecting my desires and my fears. She's a bigger lead foot than I am! I can see endings in tears just thinking about her driving my car.
