Steering wheel channel control behaves differently on home screen than Radio screen

This is definitely in the category of teensy-tiny little things. Mostly I'm posting this to make sure I'm not crazy or missing something obvious. In short, "up" and "down" buttons do opposite things depending on whether used on the Home screen or the Radio/SiriusXM screen. Here goes:

On the Media center, on the "Home" screen, when using the steering wheel Channel up/down select button, the "up" direction toggles through the presets going upwards, i.e. from P1 to P-whatever. Down does the opposite, for example from P20, P19, P18... P1.

If I tap to go to the SiriusXM Screen, though, the steering wheel channel buttons start behaving the opposite way. "Up" will in fact move *down* through the presets, for example from P20, P19, P18, etc. It's as if on that screen, "Up" means "go up through the preset list on the left hand side, and on that list, up means down.

It's just so weird to have the buttons behave opposite depending on what screen you're on. It's pretty confusing.

Anyway, a whiny first-world problem for sure.

Cable TV box works the same way. While watch TV and you click up, it goes to the next highest channel. If you have the guide on and you click up, it goes up the screen.

It definitely annoyed me OP, along with some other things about the vehicle I'll spare you on.

Over time I've eventually gotten used to it. It's pretty quick to swap between channels (also shows on heads up display) that I instinctively click the other direction the moment I get the wrong channel.
