I bought my 2018 gt years ago and it's been my daily driver ever since. I know how this car's steering feels both in comfort and sport. Yesterday I took it out for a drive and the steering felt about 30% tighter than normal. I thought perhaps I had it in sport when I was in comfort but that wasn't the case. Anyone know what could cause this and/or a potential fix?

I know it's an electronic system so I'm wondering if maybe the electric motor is miscommunicating with the car. Wondering if unplugging the car battery for a while might reset the system. It feels tighter both in comfort and sport modes.

did you do the battery disconnect yet? don't keep us hanging.

Have you changed wheels & tyres or had an alignment done.
Have you hit a curb or pothole.

No I have not done any tire, alignment or rotation changes. No pot holes or anything crazy like that. I have not done the battery disconnect test yet (visited family for Easter). I will let this thread know if that changes anything.

The battery reset did nothing. I brought it to the dealership and they performed the below service which they claim fixed it. I'm picking it up after work tonight.

100 FOUNT TORQUE STEERING OUT OF CALIBRATION. Performed Torque Steering Zero Point Calibration.
