Spool Performance FX-350 HPFP review

I paid for and tested this out for the community 😂

Basically I've been having fuel pressure issues with my car on 93 pump gas for a while ever since I added my primary downpipes. I'll also add that I don't have CPI or WMI. I've tried out the BMS stage 1 HPFP which helped some and the Spool Performance LPFP which helped even more. I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the Spool Performance FX-180 and FX-200 HPFPs, those pumps don't work because they require custom tunes (which don't exist). I asked Spool's customer service and product engineer if there were any alternatives to the FX-180/200. He told me that the FX-350 for the VR30DDTT platform (their upper end HPFP) would work on the Stinger GT and wouldn't require a custom tune.

So I took a leap of faith and purchased the FX-350 HPFP (definitely not cheap 😂), they did provide me with a discount because I've contacted them before about my LPFP. The pump comes with a 10 micon filter to better protect the HPFP. The FX-350's specs are definitely overkill. The maximum pressure is 350bar (5076 psi) with a 410LPH maximum flow rate.

After installing the FX-350 HPFP, all my fuel pressure issues have been resolved and my fuel trims are great. I'm currently running the latest Lap3 1.5 tune so maybe I'll try running heavy E mixtures, E availability isn't great in the SC Midlands.

Thanks! I went down a rabbit hole to see if I could resolve my fuel pressure issues without going the CPI or WMI route.

More money for me to spend... thanks for that.
