Speaker issues!

Sorry if there's already a thread about this, but I couldn't find one that seemed the same as the issue I ran into today. I have a 2018 GT2 with the HK speakers and have never had any issues or complaints with them, but this morning after getting off a phone call on CarPlay, I noticed the speakers sounded awful. It sounds as though all the rear speakers have stopped working, and sound is only coming from the front speaker on the dash. There's no bass, it sounds like the audio is coming from a different room, etc. I've tried turning the car off completely, waiting a few minutes, and trying it again to no avail. I don't think it's a CarPlay issue because it sounds the same over bluetooth. I'm hoping when I get back to my car after work it'll go back to normal.

Anyone run into this issue?

I doubt that it is a hardware failure. Most likely an interface glitch using your phone. There is likely a reflash or reset procedure that they can follow. But maybe you'll get your wish. Too many parts, too many systems, too many interfaces, too much tech, has its downside when something glitches.

Try resetting the head unit. It’s on the face of the radio. Small black circle.

Someone else had a similar issue with the iphone and an ended phone call, his went back to normal after a restart after a decent amount of time.

Think my head unit had a brain fart! Front speakers cut out.
