Soooooo how do I remove this fastener?

Looking to Seafoam the engine and ran in to this fastener and I'm coming up short. Looks round, appears to have a hex opening? The youtube I watched said it was 10mm and this definitely looks different.

its a cover, remove it with some pliers and you will see the nut under there.

How did the seafoam go?
Overall quite well-I used a small flat screwdriver to create a gap for the spray noodle to fit in, pulled the screwdriver out and had my wife hold the revs on the car around 2k. Didn't quite get all the can sprayed out (probably 80%) but definitely saw some white smoke coming out of the exhaust so I'm thinking it did its thing. The car only has about 12.5k miles so I'm probably on the low side as far as "need" goes. Either way, for $9 it seemed like cheap maintenance.
