Ok. So here it goes. I am not sure if this is a me issue or an everyone issue. I had my Optima for 80k miles driving roads with way more loose rocks than the Stinger. Although I had plenty of rock chips on the front end, nothing on the grill. After 10k miles with my Stinger, I have tons of rock damage on my upper and lower dark chrome grill. There is no chipping but it’s dented from various rocks. This seems very odd. Anyone else notice this?

Hichroma Red GT2 here.

Same here, and I keep as much distance as practical. Had it covered with PPF. Might be a warranty item down the road.

Honest to god i just think, the paint on these specific cars SUCK!

Matter of fact, after the recent "grill job", every bit of chrome on the car is now covered with PPF. Grill, bumper, mirrors & brake chutes.
Aside from the protection aspect, the film makes maintaining the car a lot easier, no more discoloration after getting wet. Highly recommended.
