Snow White Pearl Stinger GT2

Hey guys, just bought a snow white pearl GT2. I traded in my 18 Acura TLX A-spec {nice car} but wanted more power and rear wheel drive, no more front wheel drive for me. I have to say this car is awesome. I must have watched all the video reviews on You Tube, lol. Some of the comments under the vids from the brand snobs are just pathetic, lol. Im new to the forum and just wanted to say hi.

Congrats on the car and welcome to the forum! There are a lot of misinformed people out there, some dislike the brand without any experience with it but have stories they heard from 20 years ago. Those in the know will see how great the car is and choose one. But if one is all about the brand and think that defines them, then they will spend the extra cash to impress the neighbors. I know a number of folks that get the stripper version of a BMW just to say they have one and when they see the options in my KIA they try to justify it by saying they have to give you more for you to buy it. When I bring up the warranty and the fact that KIA has bested their brand in reliability and quality, then they try to change the subject. Then when I tell them I had a 535 M-Sport with issues and ditched it for a KIA, they start asking more questions as typically they have some issues they didn’t talk about.

I have had co-workers get a KIA Optima after seeing and riding in mine. Now when I show them photos of the Stinger, they are shocked that KIA can make such a car. Don’t worry about people, you have a made a great choice in getting the Stinger, enjoy your ride!

Absolutely amazing car!!! I was looking at the TLX A Spec and decided to go with the Stinger.
My wife is a brand snob and was furious

Thanks for the replies guys, the interior of the Stinger is IMHO a nicer place to be than my Acura.

Just got the Stinger some nice tint, really a must in So cal. Think i'm going to take it up Angeles crest hwy this weekend if i get some time.

Owner of a 2013 2.0 Genesis coupe looking to upgrade to the Kia Stinger GT2. It will happen soon, I am just in the middle of a very important and major business transaction so I have to wait until everything gets worked out before I purchase the Stinger. The wait is killing me! LOL! My genesis currently has an upgraded garrett turbo, custom tune, meth injection, full bolt ons and a lot of aftermarket parts; so I'm very curious to see how the Stinger keeps up or is better than my genesis. I will soon head to the dealer for a test drive. I came to this thread to introduce myself as well as because of the 'snow white' stinger - the best color i've seen so far IMO. Now, I already own a white car and I love the black trim/ spoilers and white body color combo; but in considering the stinger I thought maybe a different color car this time.... until i saw in person a white stinger w/ black roof and dark tint - exactly how I would do it and I fell over with the stunning beauty of the color combination. Needless to say I do believe the stinger will be my 3rd white car in a row. HAHAH!

Welcome! I know the waiting might be killing you but you could be in a good position for a ‘19 or a clearance on an ‘18. Either way it will be fun. If the 19 does get the 360 camera, it would be a done deal for me. But I didn’t wait... so.

I am at least 30 days from closing on the business deal so it probably would be sometime in September, so I will most likely get a 2019. I'm torn between going for a test drive now or waiting until the time gets closer.

I did a test drive and I was doomed. Hold off if the business deal is that critical. This will bleed your attention. Just think that the deal will help pay for all your mods, later!
