My complimentary XM radio has expired, and since I dont use it I never signed up. All was well until I recently updated my maps to version 12.5. Now when I go to my maps, a message on the screen pops up and says "Sirius XM subscription required." It goes away, but I noticed that theres very few cities and towns listed on the map. Anyone else have this issue and/or can clarify this for me?

Maybe you have some function that uses SiriusXM turned in in the system. When I used the nave the other day, it showed an icon for traffic and had the HD logo next to it so I don’t think the traffic is coming from them. Check to see the option you have turned on for it.

SiriusXM traffic. As above, should be a setting to turn it off.

The traffic data, according to the manual is HD data from what I recall, Sirius data provides weather and gas prices plus some other things. I was happy when I saw the traffic was HD but I skimmed the manual so I could be wrong. I use CarPlay these days for navigation but I just tested the system to see how it did. If you use the in car system more, check the Multimedia manual, that info should be there. Have to say, this is the first new car that I didn’t read the manual in the first couple of days. It’s just so fun driving it. :)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
There is an option for where the traffic data comes from, HD or Sirius or Auto (which I assume just picks whichever is available)
