Side View Mirror Tilt

I have found an oddity and I am curious if it's just me. When I first got my car, the side mirrors did not tilt down when the car was put in reverse. I assumed I didn't get that feature and that it must only come with the GT2 (I have the GT1) About a month or so later, the mirrors suddenly tilted down. I made no changes in settings that I am aware of. As of yesterday they no longer tilt down when I go into reverse. Has this happened to anyone else?

You must press the L or R mirror switch to make them tilt down when your going in reverse.

Nope, happened automatically without hitting any switches last time.

Please read the manual cause that's where I found my answer when it stop tilting down..

I see what you're saying now. That seems like a strange way to manage that feature but I guess it works. I'm used to it either not being something you can turn off or there is a button (like for the parking sensors). All of the cars I have owned that have remote adjustable mirros I have set the switch to the middle by habit. Thanks!

Typically in other cars it worked the other way around where having it in R or L stops the tilting feature. This car works the other way around but I like the titling feature.

It's the same on all Kias.. at least, on my '11 and '15 Sorento, '11 Soul, and the Stinger. Backwards from what it "should" be - but it is what it is.

Press the switch completely down on the left. If you make the switch flat, then depress L slightly, the switch lowers a bit- depress further and it goes a bit more. Now pop it in reverse and they tilt. (Noticed this like a month ago and was a magical experience)
