Ive got the Maxton side skirts to install but the instructions are a bit basic. Does anyone have any pics of how you mounted side skirts?

Silly question but is there anything online?

I searched through here and found one member who posted before shots and said he would take after but ended up not doing it.

Maybe email the manufacturer for more detail.

Maxton doesn’t even have pictures of the products off the cars. They provided generic instructions, apply glue, screw into existing side skirts.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I installed some on a local Stinger owner. I will ask him to take pics and post them here. I don't think they were the Maxton side skirts he got his on ebay. We used screws and double sided 3M tape. We stayed away from the glue.

I Would lift the car on one side and line one of your skirts and see if it lines up with existing holes. If it does then you are set, just add All weather 3M double sided tape in all the contact areas that go to the metal frame. If some parts stretch to the inner plastic you can always add extra screws to that easily.

If the screws don't line up then you have to make new holes. A lot of the times you can get away with 3M and not have to make holes if you don't feel comfortable doing it.

Do you have pics of your side skirt?

I did my M&S using just low pro ramps raising the rear. Used self taping screws / 3m vhb.

Predrilled the holes on the skirts. Wiped car underside and splitters with isopropyl alcohol. Applied tape to splitter. Lined up on car (with one side lifted close to the car’s skirts using paint cans/boxes. Pulled vhb tape cover. Started at the rear. Keeping it aligned how I wanted as I married the skirts to the car. Then used short hand screwdriver to screw in self taping screws.
