Side Skirt Damage

While back I ran over something on the road, heard a bang as it hit under the car. When I got home I could see damage on the side skirt. Oh well, shit happens. Today I took my car in to get rust protection done. Shop guy points out the damage, saying it must have happened when the car was being hoisted. I explained when I thought it happened. 20mins later he comes back to me and tells me he just gave me the same mark on the other side and offers to get it fixed. To be honest the original one didn't bother me and the one he did is barely noticeable. Long story short since he does Ceramic coatings, I asked if he would do my car for free. He agreeded, so in a couple of weeks my car will get done with System X Diamond.


Has anyone with this type of damage tried heating it with a heat gun to smooth it out?

I’ve heard that stickers will cover any visible damage.

And add horsepower.

Was thinking maybe I'll try a heat gun and smooth it out.
