Hi,

I recently changed my side mirror caps and everything went fine besides my right mirror is now stuck in the downward position. I'm tried manually moving it, using the side mirror adjustor but nothing moves it. It makes a noise as if the motor is moving but nothing is happening. Even trying to move it manually it doesn't move. It's like it's stuck. I can move the other side mirror with my hand. Nothing made any cracks or pops when I took the cap off or back on, so I don't think I broke anything and I've examined it a couple of times. Attached photos but It might be more helpful to take one with the mirror removed, I just don't have time right now to do that.

Does anyone have any idea before I make a trip to the dealer? Thanks in advance!

Somehow you managed to disengage the motor. At least it's working, so, there probably isn't anything broken inside (we hope).

So is there a fix for that

Did you get this fixed? I’m running into the same issue.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Does the auto fold still work on yours? Did you also remove your mirror?
I figured it out. When pulling off the mirror, the front part of the motor that attaches to the mirror was slightly pulled off from the back motor piece on one side, and the edge of the front piece jammed with the edge of the back piece. I had to force it back in so the front and back pieces properly overlap again. I didn’t do a good job and the mirror moves slower than it used to, but at least it works!
