Hey all! Dies anybody know how to remove the entire side mirror assembly?

I got the cap off the mirror giving me access to the two mounting screws inside. Tried turning it with a driver. Did not budge. Used a power tool, and TWISTED the metal bit...

Did you have issues taking the screws off?

Did you have issues taking the screws off?

No. I mean I do not know how to safely remove the mirror. I had a baseball bat in mind when I wrote that!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to add a comment here to see if anyone knows how to remove the side mirrors.

According to the manual, all you need to do is remove the two bolts on the bottom of the mirrors. I tried using a regular driver AND a power driver to remove the bolts but it actually twisted the driver bit!!!

If anyone has experience, your knowledge is much appreciated!!!

Unfortunately I cracked my mirror while doing it. But I had to use a trim remover tool to pop it off

Was it when you were opening the mirror cap? I am talking about the whole mirror assembly itself!

So you are trying to remove the whole mirror from the car? Or something else. I've been into mine to swap to CF and had no issues.
