My back passenger tire, (bought 4 new tires Feb. 2923) shredded today. I’ve had nothing but problems with my tires-always feels like a shaky rough ride and they say nothing is wrong. My question-how do I go about speaking to the tire company? Someone mentioned alignment..negative camber.. still learning so please excuse my ignorance. Am I going to have to suck it up and pay? Wanted opinions before I go down to the tire place. Brand-Continental .
Thanks!

whoa! that's the worst inside edge wear I've seen. it is definitely at least partly a camber problem. but your tread is shot all the way across. do you burn out a lot? there's no way that even wear like that is otherwise an alignment issue unless I am speaking from total ignorance and not experience. you should get a prorated reduction in the price of replacement tires if they are gone well before the treadlife warranty. unless they determine that you have murdered the tires hooning.

Thanks! I don’t burn out….yet . The wear is only on that one tire. Very confusing!

I had similar wear, on Michelin PS4 original tires.

Alignment confirmed as correct, and my next set of tires did not wear the same way at all

Weird.

Just checked the rear drivers side-it is bad as well-certainly not to the extent of the rear passenger:

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That looks like major toe in off from a front tire....I dont think I have ever seen a non burnout tire go like that before.
I would be checking my rear components for something that is severely out of whack...that is beyond even a completely shot bearing.
Did you impact anything with the rear end? Like slide into a curb or something...the car must be pulling to the right like crazy if thats the drivers side.
That is way too excessive to be camber unless you were lowered to the extent of having a 45 degree angle on the wheels

In my video in post #4..... Those were my original OEM tires. Lasted 32k kms, no burnouts. No suspension components have been replaced.

Multiple sets of tires since, have not worn like that. (Both winters and summers).

Currently on Bridgestone Blizzak WS80's, with no odd wear pattern.

Your is very different, you have a very small extreme wear spot...almost looks like a faulty inner belt in the tire made a high spot.
I wonder if they noticed any weird balancing issues when it was installed, did it have excessive weights anywhere on the tire?
The OP tire is more than 3/4 of the tread across the tire, although with that kind of wear you would expect to see directional scuff marks moving non perpendicular to the tread...I would submit a complaint to continental.
Wasnt there a European member that had similar issues with continentals?
PS: you were lucky to get 32k out of the oems, I barely got 27k out of the rears and I drive like a old fart.

That entire tire is just worn out and failed because it wasnt replaced. Nobody has asked the most important question. How many miles are on that tire and do you live in a tropical climate?

OP said the tires were on February '23 - allowing for the obvious typo, unless a Time Lord. How many miles could they have just over one year later?

@7Andrei7 's Continentals were different OD sizes front to back, causing the traction/stability control to shut down boost, except in sport mode, if I remember his issue correctly? I don't recall him complaining about a rough ride. That was an earlier issue, at least a couple of years back, iirc, where he got numerous alignments and changed out his tires and finally found a cure, but I don't recall exactly what. It was a brutal saga over something that should be bog standard easy to resolve.

@Snicklefritz Yup, they were 2 unrelated issues.

My factory 19" tires (summer Continental) were also very sensitive and difficult to balance just right. Every spring I had to try 2-3 times until I got them to be smooth at over 80mph. All other tires I've put on the OEM wheels since then have been very smooth.

My recent problem was with the TC and caused again by Continental tires. However, this time there were no vibrations.

@Bacalla1a If you want to get in touch with Conti try twitter. Their US page responds very quickly.

You definitely have a suspension issue

Time travel through worm holes is hard on tires.

I am a tad bit surprised 900 years of advanced hadn't produce a better wearing tire.
